If a logo is required, a digital image of the logo (artwork) must also be supplied.

Upon receipt of the artwork, a business logo for example, has to firstly be checked to make sure it is suitable for embroidery.

The image is then transferred to a computer to be image processed by a skilled digitiser, using specialist software, to produce the initial stitch pattern file for the embroidery machines to read.

The digitised file will tell the embroidery machines which stitches to use, where to place them, and in what colour thread.

The Design & Proof step is more of an art than a science, as the digitiser has potentially thousands of parameters (including, start end exit points, underlay, cuts offs, tie ins, registration, push and pull compensation, density, thread tensions, etc) that can be tuned to provide the very best results. For large, complicated designs and/or difficult material, this can be a long and arduous process, but necessary for the best possible outcome to be achieved.

A test sample of the design will be sewn out and checked. Any adjustments will be made at this stage and re tested to ensure the best possible results. When we are 100% happy with the sample, a photo will be sent for your approval.

Once approved by the customer, the required garments are sourced and the design is scheduled to be embroidered onto the clothing.

We have a number of embroidery machines capable of producing individual items (ThinkSew has no minimum order size) or we can supply in volume.

On completion of the production stage, each embroidered item is inspected and the final finishing stages are completed to ensure each item is of the highest quality before dispatch.
